Rep Power: 11   |  Advertising is everywhere, unfortunately, and it's only going to get worse. Just one of the many reasons I stopped watching TV and don't care to listen to the public radio. I tend to get left out of the loop a lot though, when someone asks me "have you heard about this?" and I just stare at them like "uhhhhhhh... noooo?".

Out here in Richmond (not sure about Vancouver), there hasn't been much advertising going on. I suspect the high Asian population might suggest that there isn't much of a demand for cheap CDMA phones. I've only seen one commercial, and that's it...

Car: IS250 RWD Rep Power: 93  | ^ They're airing lots of commercials on national TV... and here in Coal Harbour, nearly every other bus stop has a Koodo Mobile advertisement. I should take a picture next time I pass one... thank to Vlad, I always stop at Koodo ads and have a little giggle to myself. Does anyone know what happened to Solo Mobile, Telus' previous cell phone venture? Did it get replaced by Koodo? |
