Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, any thoughts?

i'm thinking of buying one of these cams, because i read reviews which were al positive. what i can't find is how the cam copes with outdoor light. once in a while i aim my current webcam outside (crappy old logitech) and it's way to bright. sometimes it even is completely white.

anyone have a 9000 and can somebody tell me how the picture looks when it's looking outside?

Sounds good to me, plus, its Logitech, and I've never had anything go wrong with them.

as i read somewhere the cam exists from 3 parts, from which the one on the right is a sort of counterweight. so it should hang on every screen
