Looking for a good but cheap camera phone.

Well my parents said that they would pay for a phone and it would be my Christmas gift. It has to be relatively cheap but with decent picture quality, something I can use when a nice car drives by and it will not look to terrible. What are your thoughts?

well its going to be on a plan, so around 100 bucks lol. I can get a Razr V3 for $0 with a plan on about 35$ a month. But I don't want to get what everyone else gets and I hear the pictures are crap.

If you're getting it on a plan, you probably don't have very many options anyway, so why not just list the ones they offer and we can tell you which ones are good deals?

Motorola Pebl U6
Motorola V3c Razr
Sanyo 6600 Katana
Don't know prices b/c there not advertised and didn't really bother to look. But Razr is $0, pebble in the 50's, katana is around 100 and same with the A900

Samsung A900 has a better camera than the Sanyo 6600...if the Sanyo 8400 is available that's the one I would get (1.3MP, micro-SD slot, Bluetooth).

Motorola E815, if your provider offers it. I have one and it's been good to me, plus it looks "cool" in an understated sort of way.

In Germany you can get a K800i (Cybershot model with real flash...) on a cheapo plan for under 100 Bucks.... (70 Euros...)
Are you limited with the providers? No other options? All those phones are rather outdated..

ive got a A900. its a great camera in 1.3mp mode. BUT, you cannot zoom in that mode, the lighting mode has to be adjusted at times, you have to have hands as steady as a surgeon if you want ultra-clear pics and the camera is pretty useless at night unless you have the lighting set at night, the white balance on all the way up along with the contrast, and the flash on. You could go through all that and still get shitty pics at night. Its an excellent camera, but not the most convenient (especially if you want to pull of a quick pic)
