Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Looking for Musicmatch Jukebox replacement. Looking for Musicmatch Jukebox replacement. For some reason MMJB stopped playing any Japanese titled files today, I guess Yahoo Music must've block it. Anyways, I'm looking for a replacement (other than Winamp). Only two requirements, it must be able to play Japanese and Chinese titled files, and that it must have is it has to be able to automatically add whatever songs I played into a playlist, so next time I start the program it still has the list of songs that I've played. Any good suggestions? It doesn't have to be really lightweight, as long as it doesn't take up tons of ram it's fine. Thanks in advance.

| Lexus? Oh shi- | Yeah why not Winamp? I hadn't even heard of MMJB since like 2000. I use the classic version of Winamp, it's the best. |

Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for the replies but I tried Winamp, I just don't like it. It doesn't have shortcut keys, it won't automatically save the playlist for the next restart. It's just not intuitive to me. Are there really no other good music players? I guess I can aquire MMJB 8 or 9, hopefully they'll work.

| What? Doesn't have hotkeys?? Sure it does, and you can customize them to whatever you want: ![]() And yes, it saves your current playlist for the next time you start up Winamp. It sounds like you haven't really give it enough of a chance. There's a lot more than meets the eye, but Winamp is certainly not bloated like a lot of other players out there. Long live Winamp!!

| Dispenses buckshot medication for all undead patients. | Count me in for WinAmp. MMJB is a great gleaming turd compared to WinAmp. The last time I tried using MMJB the thing could not even handle my entire library, it totally choked on the number of titles I had. It's a total joke of a player.

Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Well thanks for the replies. I uninstalled and re-installed it, it seems to have worked, it plays all my files now. I've been using MMJB since MMJB7, so I'm quite used to it, so I guess I'll stick with it for now. Maybe Winamp really improved since I tried it last time, I'll give it a try if MMJB acts up again. Blind_Io, I don't have that big of a library, only around 1 thousands songs or so, and MMJB10 seems to handle it fine.

| D: | they would be the themes awdrifter, you can get small skins like that one for winamp. Also the features you mention it missing have been in it since i've been using it (napster days)

| Well..Foobar 2000 does the trick for me and its infinitely more customizable than winamp, it is like the elise compared to a hummer! | |

| Gulf Livery Rules | that's two modes, the normal (bottom two) and the winshade (top two), which then neatly snaps on the top edge of the screen. |

Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I tried Winamp about a year or two ago, all I remember is it doesn't do anything that I want, back then I was using WMP (it sucks, so I was trying to find a better music player), then I found MMJB 7 so I've been using it since then.

| Lazy Head Dude | I just use standard Winamp Modern in the black skin in thin mode. (Yeah, I've been too lazy to reskin Windows after formatting a few months ago).

| Lexus? Oh shi- | Blech, you should though. After discovering skins I could never, ever use the old neon blue XP theme. At least the lighter blue that some later updates had was bearable. Love the new look of Vista however, it's so much easier on the eyes. |
