Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() | I'm trying to convert a small number of swf files into some kind of video format so that they can be used in a powerpoint presentation. I've downloaded all kinds of programs, so many I have lost count, but all of them either don't work, output a very poor quality product or slap huge watermarks etc over the final product. I was wondering if anyone knows a good program that can do the job? |

Rep Power: 18 ![]() ![]() | Thanks Mad Cow but I have already tried this program and it isn't any good. It just captures part of the screen and outputs it to a file so a) it is hard to use because you need to specify exactly the correct part of the screen that you want captured b) for some reason the files that it outputs are huge, the first 2 minute one alone came out to 3.2GB. I am trying to use Adobe Flash CS3 but can't work it out. |

| Lazy Head Dude | That's probably the only way to do it. SWF is closed source I believe. It's like trying to convert a video game to an AVI -- the only way to do it is to record it.

| Hedgehog Sandwich | I have Amor SWF to video convertor. It does a great job, but on my version you have to choose the SWF background colour. This is the latest version I think. It's a trial but it shouldn't take long to find a way of getting it for nothing ![]() http://www.softpedia.com/get/Interne...onverter.shtml |

| If you are on a Mac, or have access to it, or know someone who has a Mac that might find this useful (or already own it), Visual Hub should do the trick. http://www.techspansion.com/visualhub/
