Default Mini3 Headphone Amp Build (Pics)

I got done with my Mini3 Headphone Amp build today and I though I would show off a few pictures of it. I still need to get a NiHM battery that fits inside and a better interconnect cable. The amp is still burning in but so far I am very happy with it.

that is really nice! I have debated with myself time and time again to make one. I see you went the kit route, how much did it cost you at the end? I have though about going for its bigger brother, http://www.amb.org/audio/mmm/ but how does the mini kit compare to the larger one?

Actually I did not go with the kit route. I just got all the parts he specified on the BOM on the site. I went this way and went with the Mini3 because it was at a price point I wanted and it had great reviews. IDK how this compares to the M3 amp. I think the M3 is a Class A amp. I would suggest asking the people at www.headwize.com and http://www.head-fi.org/ both know a lot about this type of stuff. You can spend hours on the sites reading and learning.

hmm, I'm interested. I'm quiet a big audio person, and this looks like a fun side project.

That looks fun, I might build one when I'm finished working on my Zaph towers.

DIY audio is kickass!
