Does the software have a help file? If so, you might find the info there.
My guess is that it's the power supply of the CPU, some components usually gathered around the CPU socket. With CPUs getting faster and faster, the temperature of these components has reached a critical level of head dissipation, so they might be monitored on newer boards. PWM should stand for Pulse Width Modulation, which is the way they work. Some boards have four, some have six if I'm not mistaken. Regards the Interceptor

![]() so basically I have to increase CPU cooler's speed coz when I overclocked it, CPU temperature was 50 and PWM1 was 80

Yes, increasing the CPU cooler speed should also improve cooling for the PWMs. It depends on the design of the cooler though, some cool the PWMs good, some don't. As long as the pc runs smoothly, you don't need to worry I guess, but the moment you start to have freezes, you might know where the problem sits.

Oh, sorry, guess that's what I get for only reading the topic.
![]() Although MBM5 may show better names for them (assuming they are real sensors). Googling the motherboard will probably also list out all of the sensors on the board.

MBM5 doesn't support my motherboard so no offense, I'll stick with uGuru
![]() I've decided to add more fans in the case, CPU cooler cools the CPU well but doesn't extract heat from the case I think. This is what I've come up with: http://pics.livejournal.com/xeon_sx/pic/0007a2kh http://pics.livejournal.com/xeon_sx/pic/0007c093 Hopefully this will help. |

Actually I run Prime95 at them oment at the temperature doesn't get higher than 62 although I am not sure is it because I added fans or decreased voltage to the CPU. But anyway it is now OK
Thanx

No, I actually have my CPU fan maxxed out. I forgot that I had done that.

I always though PWM was the Northbridge chipset temp, but I could be wrong.
