Ok here's the situation, I've downloaded file X to my C drive, (via torrent). But now I want to move it to my other hard drive and continue uploading from there. But of course when I move or edit the file, the torret client no longer recognises it. My question is can I move the file to my other hard drive and still upload it, basically as if I downloaded to the other drive in the first place!
That's probably not the clearest description I could give but I hope you get the idea of it! |

Ok so I found the answer to that question (sorry peeps!), but I have another:
Would it be ok to transfer a file that is not finished yet, and continue downloading in the new location? |

Of course. You just add the torrent to your client (no default save), point it at the new save location, and it'll check the existing data, figure out what's there and what's not, and continue downloading.

Ive deleted the torrent from utorrent, but I still have the file in its original downloaded state. How do I commence uploading that? I apologise for all the questions, im just having a major re-shuffle/sort-out of my HDDs ![]() |

Yes I could do that, but then the torrent is well into double figures (in GB) so I'd rather not if you know what I mean!
