Default Need some help with ATI card...

Hey guys!

I'm having some problems. Im on a new PC, installed windows, and the usual codec pack, and I saw this:

Why is this? I think its because I used Nvidia Geforce before, and now its Ati. The card is Asus Ati EAX1300 PRO. Can anybody help me? images/smilies/cry.gif

have you tried VLC Player ?
it's got built in codecs just to make sure it isn't a codec problem

Try WMP, I have that as well with some .wmv s in MPC

chaos386: yeah calling images/smilies/tongue.gif BTW its a brand new pc, new HD, so only ATI drivers are on it.

Buba: nah, tried it with every player I have images/smilies/sad.gif

fluke667: VLC player works great, I think I'm gonna use that, untill I find the problem images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

Look no further, then, it's codec-related. Installing the latest version of Windows Media Player should install the right codec... or you can switch to VLC for good images/smilies/smile.gif

Vlc is absolutely the best thing. images/smilies/smile.gif
It even plays video files that are in .bin format images/smilies/smile.gif It isnt necessary to mount the files on a shadow drive with daemon tools, it pplays the file directly.
