Default Need some internet related help! Please?

hello everyone, i am a internet user from malaysia and i really need your help regarding how to prevent denial of service attacks , i am using a smc wireless router with a built in modem, specifically the SMC7904WBRA, it has a built in firewall as well as a security log, and everyday for hours on end the security log keeps displaying that it has just recieved a land attack , tons of them every minute, causing my bandwidth to stop.
this is an example from my security log:
03/23/2006 04:30:05 **LAND** 60.48.81.192, 4025->> 60.48.81.192, 32459 (from PPPoE1 Inbound)
03/23/2006 04:30:03 **LAND** 60.48.81.192, 4025->> 60.48.81.192, 32459 (from PPPoE1 Inbound)
03/23/2006 04:28:49 **LAND** 60.48.81.192, 3909->> 60.48.81.192, 32459 (from PPPoE1 Inbound)
03/23/2006 04:28:46 **LAND** 60.48.81.192, 3909->> 60.48.81.192, 32459 (from PPPoE1 Inbound)
03/23/2006 04:27:19 **LAND** 60.48.81.192, 3786->> 60.48.81.192, 32459 (from PPPoE1 Inbound)
Its not just land attacks, i get smurf attacks and syn flooding as well...Does anyone know how i can catch the feller who doing this or at least stop him from continuing? i have been searching on the internet but i cant seem to find a solution, this has been bugging my com for almost 6 months now and i am getting very frustrated (maybe im just not looking in the right places). any help offered will be greatly appreciated.( if this is in the wrong section i am very very sorry, im just very much a noob to all this but i am learning )

Are you sure its not you attacking yourself? because those ip addresses are the same... I'm not sure how that particular brand of router works, but if it's like anything i've seen before, the first ip address should be the initiating connection, and the second address should be the receiving connection. Make sure your computer doesn't have spyware or something similar installed that may be making a lot of connections or something.

If that fails, contact your ISP and ask them what is happening.
