| I want to buy a second 512 mb ram memory chip, and my first one is a 512mb pc3200 200mhz. In my local store they only sell the same chips with 400 mhz, so i dont know if they will work together very well? Should i buy this new one or search for the same i have now?

Car: Saab 93 2.0t @ stage 3 now Rep Power: 31 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | pc3200 = 400mhz ddr1 memory running in sync with a 200 mhz front side bus. So the memory you have is probably the same speed as the stuff in the shop. |

| .sa = bad driver! | 200MHz is 400MHz DDR. The memory goes through 200 million cycles per second, but it can transmit twice per cycle (once on the rising edge, and once on the falling edge of the signal), hence the "400MHz." ![]()
