From what I read, I understand that ALL products sold after 5/1/2005, will have to have this. If the device does not have this capability, be it a TV with a digital receiver, PC, laptop, etc, it won't be able to playback or record the media. images/smilies/thumbdown.gif

This will go a long way to prevent people from putting TV shows online... for a few months until someone cracks the protection, they always do.

I can't see how this would be a problem, even if you need a special reciever to convert the signal, if you run it from that point into an analoge card it won't care, just encode from that point instead without any bullshit protection. Sounds like hype to me.

French is a beautiful language, my favourite sounding language. But then again I love the french accent when they speak English, does it for me everytime! lol

Quebec accent isn't all that great tho for some reason, perhaps it's because it has some American in there too, which is no good images/smilies/tongue.gif
