Oh, you're saying it retailed for $800 in '99? That makes more sense

Amazing they still have good color after almost 10 years. I bought a Viewsonic CRT in 2002 and the colors look like crap now, but it wasn't a professional series.

Yeah, both of them still function perfectly. I was doing community service at a non-profit place for school and they had the monitors donated to them. The non-prof people said they were too big and enlisted me to take them to a computer recycling place, so I loaded them up into my Jeep and took them home

Just having two separate taskbars makes UltraMon extremely valuable. I'd use it if that's the only feature it offered

It's because you're using hardware acceleration. Your video card can only render on one screen at a time.

Disable hardware acceleration so your CPU does the work and you can play it across both monitors at once.

That's why I replaced my professional series 19" CRT. It was $250 like 4 years ago and while it wasn't that bad at the beginning (slight red turning to pink in the very upper left), the thing was just shit lately. Way too dark and slightly green.

Soooo happy I upgraded to this 24" LCD.

How do you disable hardware acceleration when the option has been disabled??

Right click on desktop -> personalise -> display setting -> advanced -> troubleshoot -> hardware acceleration option has been disabled

Vista uses hardware acceleration itself which is why the option to switch it off is no longer there. So how do i switch it off?

Im using storm codec or media player classic in this instance, so i cant find that "performance" option

Even though i can have the video working on both side of the screen, but i still cant fully stretch it to 3360, if i try do that, then the video turns black, like this

Of course not because then the video proportions would be wrong.

You can do Video -> Touch from Outside though to make it lop off the top and bottom.

Problem is that i cant even stretch beyong 1800 pixels in width.

I tried to turn the resolution down on both monitor and that didnt work either : (
