Obtaining video files from streaming websites

There's a couple of videos I want to nick from YouTube and NineMSN video, I was just wondering if there was a tool, or something I can do to get the video file off these streaming websites

NineMSN (never heard of it) will require digging through the source code to find the true URL to the file and then downloading it.

I use Orbit in XP seems to work OK.

The one I linked is awesome. It'll either link you to the FLV or e-mail you a link (as it takes a bit to convert) to a AVI, MOV, etc. version of it.

NineMSN is the Aussie equivalent of MSN. images/smilies/cool.gif

Me too, and then convert them to AVi or WMV using WinAVI. Now I just need to find a way to capture the high res versions.

You could try KeepVid. It doesn't say anything about supporting MSN or NineMSN, but it works on like 50 other sites. I would try the "any site" mode, you might get lucky.
