get in you fat bastard. this thing is sweet. price is teh steep though.

so thats it. its between this bad boy and a 20 inch iMac. with the mac weighing in at only £1200 its looking like the smart mans choice compared to this VX2.

its going to be a battle of head/heart now. my heart wants the VX2, my head says go for the iMac.

Supercar battles are not only in the automotive world, but the computer/laptop world?? Why are car manufacturers making laptops anyway? The CPU has been modified with "Lambo technology" or something? I just don't see a point in buying a Ferrari or Lambo laptop unless they really stand out from their competitors, which they don't.

Or you could buy an Asus G1 like I intend to do and it will set you back much less, which is great considering that it's basically identical components-wise.

I hate things endorsed by car companies like Lamborghini and ferrari, I mean all they do is jack the price and cover it in rediculous stickers. All the kids that come to Uni with these things just get ripped on.

I have the Asus S5N and I love it. Why bother buying a hypercar badge on a laptop? Does the laptop do 200 mph and go sideways round corners? The only badge on there I care about is Asus.

each to his own. i happen to like these two very much. they are definately better looking than any mac.

its true the G1 is identical in most regards, but i cant agree with the styling.

you dont just get the laptop here, you get a leather mouse mat and wireless mouse, and a leather carrying bag. but i will admit...i dont think id wanna be caught dead sporting that bag, even if i had a lambo. Asus are on another level now. their laptops are conistently the best built and usualy best spec'd. alot of them even sport DVI out which has been a long time coming

When I got my Asus it came with a wireless mouse and satchel as well (not leather) No mouse pad, but who carries a mouse pad around for a laptop? It also came with a 9 hour battery, something I use much more than either the satchel or mouse mat.

i just got told not to bother buying anything now becuase Santa Rosa is but 2 months away bringing 800Mhz FSB, faster C2D's and DX10 graphics.

they all seem to come with a decent mouse and a tidy carry case by the looks of it. just another reason to buy Asus.
