Paypal Questions

So i recently signed up for a paypal in my own name (had a working one, but under my fathers name) Anyways i am wondering how long it usually takes to get verified, just from personal experience that is!

The main reason i ask is because it said it would take 2-3 days to do the credit card verification, but once i went to the bank i was able to basically set it up in 20 minutes (mostly just driving)

Anyways it says the same "wait for deposit" thing on verification this time around, but it actually hasn't shown anything at all on my account for a good two days.

Partly i'm stressing out because i assumed i would be able to pay for stuff quickly, so i bought crap online, and now everybody wants to know were the damn money is, and i feel a bit under pressure images/smilies/sad.gif

(more like stressed then sad, but can't find a smiley for that)

Also, does anybody know what the spending limit for unverified accounts is? i read it was $5.99.

Dunno how long it takes as I just waited for my next bank statement to come rather than checking my balance online or whatever.

Their FAQ probably covers all of this.

My account's unverified and it says the limit is AUD4,200(!!!!!). But I just used it this morning with my credit card thru eBay. The Aussie paypal site says anything from 2-4 working days for the little deposits to be in your bank account so you verify it...

I suppose i can wait, i just feel like a jerk for making other people wait for things i promised i'd pay them for

Just as a follow-up, i did finally receive the deposits on about the 3rd day. Not that anybody on here is going to ask the same question, but yeah know, just incase.

They take quite some time, it took me awhile to receive my credit card charges when submitting my credit card.
