I got those for my PS3 and PC and for the price, they're great. Much better than most cheap 2.0 speakers but don't expect them to be better than a real 2.1 setup. You can even go to the store to test them (if it's the same as where I am).

Yes, on the front. You can also use one of these: http://www.cablewholesale.com/specs/.../30st-stff.htm for a more clean look. What I do is use the line in on my PC.

According to the box you can even order PS2/PS3/360/etc. adapters from Logitech but I imagine that would be more expensive.

Fuck. I was watching the green controller quadrant line go from one side to the other on my 360, and decided to tilt it to see if the light moved with the tilt, forgetting that you should never tilt a 360 when it's running. So you can imagine my surprise when the Nurburgring disappeared from under my car and the thing froze up.

Now my Forza 2 disc has 3 massive scratches on it, and I can't find any cloth to use with my cutting compound.

Awww dammit. MS finally leanred themselves how to figure out that the copy of XP on my MBP is a pirated copy. Meh mehity meh meh. I'm only running a pirated copy because the two legit copies I have are upgrade versions, which don't work with bootcamp. Meh, looks like everything's still working for the time being. I used to be able to pass validation checks, but as of booting into XP just now, bam, invalid copy.

So, my girlfriend's phone is crapping out, but the only cheap phones we can get by renewing are crap.

I should just be able to buy an unlocked motorola, and just put her sim card in it, right?

Will the age of her current phone matter?

She's got a...might even be a v1 Motorola Razor (Razr? Razer?) and we're on AT&T here in the US.

Any GSM phone should work, but I think it needs to be quad-band in order to get 3G, but I could be mistaken.

I also want an android phone. I jumped at the chance to upgrade recently, and while I'm pretty happy with my new phone(LG Xenon), I've suddenly begun craving me some robot. The Motorola Cliq looks pretty sweet, but it's T-Mobile only, so nuts to that. T-Mo is GSM right? maybe an unlocked or AT&T version will come out before too long.

Gah! I just spent 22 hours installing and configuring Fedora 11 64-bit for a class, finally getting wifi working through ndiswrapper and flash by finding an Adobe developmental version. Final step: ATI drivers. I get the installer from their website and it goes smoothly... until I reboot, and get nothing but a garbled screen.

Now I get to start over from the beginning because I can't be bothered to try and troubleshoot that when I can't even get to a command-line.

EDIT: AND NOW I GET A FUCKING UNHANDLED EXCEPTION JUST AS THE INSTALLER HITS 100% WTF?????

I'm looking for a graphics card with 512MB - 1GB memory, my budget is €100 but cheaper would be nice...
For the moment I'm looking at a GeForce 9500GT...
Any other suggestions, I'm quite a noob when it comes to hardware :p

Step 1: don't buy graphics cards based on how much memory they have.
Step 2: buy a 4870 if you can find one for 100€, a 4850 if you can't.

Once you have 512 MB of memory, the actual power of the graphics card matters way more than the amount of vram.

EDIT: Fedora's up and running again, 2.5 GB of updates to download then I will attack ndiswrapper
