Rep Power: 18 ![]() | I just bought this Logitech headset to use with SKype. I want to be able to paly mp3s using my computer speakers but use my headset to talk with people. Is there a way to do this? I have this mobo that supports 8.1 ch sound. But that doesn't mean it has 2 audio-out plugs does it?

| You can buy an Audio jack splitter, but that would mean that your headset will always have sound coming out from it weather you like it or not. Or if you have a 8.1 sound and you do not have 8.1speakers, I believe you can just plug in the headset into the empty slot, it should work fine, but I know my first solution works for sure

| An audio jack splitter is what I also use... But the only problem is that you have to put your windows volume down, because else those headphones would explode. And that means you have to put your speakers really loud. | |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | you need 2 soundcards if you want to do this - like me. 1 for music etc (onboard) and one for gaming, skype and VoipBuster (Creative Audigy for my headset)
