Temporary Internet Files folder

It's 1.5GB yet when I open it, there are no files visible. I have hidden folders turned on so I can see any but there are still no visible files.

Is there anyway I can view those 9,588 files and decide whether I need them or not? I only have 450MB left on my (C) drive....

Tried that but it doesn't like it because it's a Windows folder.

Oh and also: buy a larger hard disk images/smilies/tongue.gif

No really, Windows needs 30% of the hard drive to be empty (I think) to run smoothly.

I actually have 100's of GB's of space on other H/D's but I was really stingy when partitioning some space off for the local C drive. I gave it 8.9GB and that's purely for Windows stuff. No Top Gear.

With the clean done, theres 2.2GB free on that partition. That should be enough images/smilies/tongue.gif

Just use Disk Cleanup. It will get rid of all your temp files in one shot and it's built right into XP.

That was the first thing I tried - it didn't do it.

Whilst I've got this thread - does anyone know how to get rid of the Recycle Bin appearing on the desktop??
