The top one controls the fans and gives me various system temperatures, it also has the card reader as you mentioned. The last one is my LiveDrive/Audigy2 panel, it basically has a bunch of audio plugs on it and a place to plugin headphones.

New toys!

http://previews.thenewsmarket.com/Previews/PALM/StillAssets/20235.jpg

The palmone lifedrive. Battery life isnt great but damn. 4 gigabtyes. Might not be alot compared to the ipod but they are squeezing a bloody lot of other technology into a small package. Plus, the body is made from pure aluminum, my favorite material.

Shure e5 earphones

Fantastic pair of earphones with great isolation and insane bass as it has a single driver dedicated to the low end and another one for the mids and highs. Worth every penny. Retail price is ~US$500 but if you shoup around, you can get one for $300.

Are you serious! Tell me that comes with "noise cancelling" at least!!
That Palm looks great btw...do you even call it a PDA anymore or is it just some multimedia control center.

Palm calls it some kind of "Mobile Manager".

The earphones come with noise isolation. It's basically an earplug with very expensive drivers and wires attatched to it. It blacks out about 23db of sound which will reduce the cabin noise in a plane to just a whisper.

Holy shit, I never thought that in-earplugs could cost that much images/smilies/smile.gif I'd rather buy a decent headphone with that money, which offers better comfort.
But they look cool images/smilies/smile.gif

I personally have experience with E5c, and they're sound quality is definitly on par with high-end headphones, on top of that they're also portable.
however I perfer Etymotic's flatter sound

Looks like it has a transmitter with it. Possibly the amp and transmitter for some wireless speakers?

a friend of me has a broadcast device hooked up to his pc so he can watch his screen on any tv, and he has a device that captures his wireless mouse and keyboard signals, and sends them to his pc (works with remote controllers as well), so he can operate it from anywhere in his house, from any tv

sth like that?
