Bought a new PSU, my old BeQuiet 450W began making weird noises and I thought it'd be best to get rid of it before it ruins my whole pc (I have already sent back one BeQuiet, for the same kind of noises). This is what I got instead:

Started a Thread about it earlier, and it arrived today... Quite a step up from my P72 3 MP.
This one has 10MP, a HDTV mode which shoots pics in 1920x1080 so that they fill your 16:9 screen nicely a 3" touch screen that works great and makes it even easier to use. I also like the Album function that stores the last 500 pics you took organized by date in a resolution thats optimized for the small screen (VGA, I reckon, but don't know, you can zoom in a bit without getting hazy pics...)

In addition to that it seems to be pretty fast, which good, because I just need it as a point a shoot thingy thats supposed to be fun and not work. Weather is pretty shabby here today, once it gets better, I'll try some nice pics and post them.
Andbody interested in the price? 330 Euros, also a step up from the P72 which did cost me 180 Euros back in the day, but hardly much compared to REALLY good cams...

//edit: Oh, Matt I believe, you have been messed with, a C2D shouldn't and can't catch fire, it will will throttle itself before that, or cause a system crash... Well, unless the PSU was fucked up or something, or the Mobo didn't like it... But I'm 99% certain the CPU didn't burn...

damn that looks nice, how compact is it? I'm considering getting the missus a digi camera for her birthday in a couple of weeks. Would need to be a decent slim compact one.
