Got everything up and running now, it's really nice, this CPU just flies through everything. Everything is working very well so far.

Yeah...it is just a little more complicated then that. I could explain it all if you REALLY wanted...but it would be pretty long and boring.

In a very basic nutshell a program will only run twice as fast if it is designed and optimized for dual core systems (very few are at the moment, but will be in the future). You should get a performance boost when you multitask, if your set up allows it, as it splits the tasks of the various programs between the CPU's.

In my opinion it is only worth going dual core at the moment if you are into tasks like visual and video processing, which is very system intensive.

It's not simply "I'll plug in 2x 3.4Ghz to give myself a 6.8Ghz system" as people seem to think.

well the Samsung Phone in the middle is kinda better than the D500(Black one)... it carries pretty much the same functions with better MP3 playback plus its pretty damn small and it has a much better screen and camera

NO that was my new webserver, but i did infact install windows on it, CSS, BF2, and WOW and man ohh man that with 4GB of memory, dual 3.2GHz 2MB Cache ea those games ran awesome, and it was a pci express mobo. images/smilies/happy.gif
