I was planning on getting a Onkyo TX-SR606 but then I realized that my room has like no place for rear speakers so if I'm not doing surround sound whats the point of having a receiver. So at this point I am leaning toward no receiver, plus the TV's speakers are pretty good for a TV.

14.4 V Ridgid It been my work horse for about 3 years and love it not one problem and hasn't come across anything that 14.4 volts isn't good enough for. Plus the the 20min quick charge battery is great

Yeah, the 14.4's do 99.9% of anything you'd ever need and don't weigh as much as the 18+V units. I've got a few of the 18V X2 models, but only because I ended up needing the hammerdrill function for installing anchors and whatnot.

I guess I'll keep with the toys theme, ordered one of these yesterday.

No, but it is definitely a German lens. It weighs around 4 pounds.

Yeah, it's pretty obsucure, it was designed for capturing X-ray traces.

It's a Rodenstock XR-Heligon 75mm f/1.1, I'm going to fit it with a Nikon bayonet and use it for ultra-large-aperture macro work.
