Yeah, the power where I used to live would spike like crazy. I complained to the power company on a number of occasions and they did nothing. Since I have moved, the power here has been ok, but from my friends who live here, there are brownouts in the summer :-\

Actually..about 4 hours images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Power went out AGIAN today for abour three hours, and left the power pack unplugged for about an hour after the power came back on..and it finally died images/smilies/lol.gif

It was $3k by itself

15323 on '03, 2k higher then this computer (AMD FX-51, x850XT, 1GB Corsair XMS)
7705 on '05, 1k higher
can't get '06 to work on it, or this computer for some reason.

Which is lower then I thought..but higher then my desktop! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I ordered myself the Phillips DIVX DVD Player. I didn't get it because i wanted ot watch divx, it's just my old dvd player is dying and i rather be on cutting edge cheap technology.

It's a good player. I've been really pleased with mine. Thinking about getting one for my parents as well.
