PunisherBass: ANYONE with an IQ higher than a jar of mayo wouldn't be able to get through the scientology mumbojumbo without laughing their ass off.
Clegg: PunisherBass, quit insulting mayo.

I got myself some updates for my "HTPC" (it's under my TV in Antec NSK2400 case):
MSI X58M
Core i7 920
3x1GB 1333 MHz DDR3
OCZ Silencer 610W PSU
HD4870 1GB (OC-version)
Noctua NH-C12P cooler +few Noctua 120mm fans.
and Accelero Twin Turbo.
Working fine with 3.6 GHz (40-65C, GPU 50-70C). Yes, I'm a bit crazy. I did a hole on top of CPU cooler, so it can draw air better. Otherwise everything went in quite nicely.
212Overclocked i7 with a 4870 for an HTPC? WTF is my 2.66 GHz Core 2 Duo that I game on then?
132^do you watch several streamed 1080p movies across different screens at the same time?
Because although being very very nice, I don't see the point of having that much power in such a PC

No, but I do use it for gaming and for school (Inventor and Solidworks). I only called it a HTPC because it's located under my TV, which is 1.5 meters from my desk and screen. I hope this will get me through next three years, as did my previous Core 2 Duo.
And since when there's been any logic in any such investment (PC, car, camera lense, hifi etc.)?![]()
212Heh, a 133 MHz Pentium got my family through 2002, when we got a Pentium 4 box that my parents still use. I have the C2D mentioned above and don't see it going anywhere anytime soon, especially if I eventually break down and grab a quad. Paired with a 4890 it can still destroy any game.
83^Awesome...
Too bad my wheel is on a boat from china now...

23^ +1, they are FANTASTIC for the price.
