Well. I just ordered some ram for an old machine I have, a Logitech G5 mouse and a new slimmer keyboard (since my keyboard tray is so shallow). Not the cool new toys I had planned on getting, but I figured i'd save up so I could buy a car and/or house

My latest "toy".

With it I'll be able to measure distances travelled in freefall (yes, horizontal distance.) and compare to others on how good I'm flying.

I hope to do pretty good, my tracking skills aren't too bad. 8)

Look here, record for distance travelled (without a wingsuit !) over 45 seconds is at 2.188 Miles (3.5 kms) right now.

Funny story...

I showed up at the DropZone today for some winter helicopter jumps (first event of the year) and some other jumpers were wearing the same GPS as I was !

Guess the winter season left more jumpers than I looking for cool new toys to play with once the DZ reoppens in the spring.

wow very nice set up there mgkdk. Very clean actually, no clutter and papers like my desk have. Good black tone of everything. What wheel is that btw?

As for new toys, I just ordered $600 worth of computer upgrades... Sigh i spend way too much.

MSI mobo 6100 ( $90)
eVGA Geforce 7600GT 256mb ($190!!!!)
2x NEC 3550A dvd burners(mines are breaking down. all my dvds are skipping badly).
