No-one posting any new toys for a while.. So, I had to buy a new joystick to play FS2004.

I really like this stick, it has great response and the FF is pretty good, not very loud. It matches most of my other stuff too.

I got some new stuff today:

Bytecc 3.5" External Enclosure (USB 2.0) - $34
http://img243.imageshack.us/img243/4492/closeup4og.jpg
http://img333.imageshack.us/img333/9573/allthree9ye.jpg

Seagate 400GB PATA HDD - $107
http://img333.imageshack.us/img333/5476/seagate3bp.jpg

I love my blue LEDs!
http://img466.imageshack.us/img466/6585/threeblue7we.jpg

My steady shots were all made possible using my cheap $10 tripod
http://img466.imageshack.us/img466/9775/tripod5ww.jpg

I put my old Seagate 200GB HDD into the external enclosure to use it as a backup drive. I figured it was about time to backup all of my music and TV shows (I can't lose my episodes Top Gear!).

Hey cvg, I've got the exact same case!

I've been on a spending spree lately (relatively):
http://chinagoodsinspection.com/bzr/random/speakers1.jpg
http://chinagoodsinspection.com/bzr/random/speakers2.jpg
Creative Inspire T3030 2.1 speakers, and they work great.

Also just got one of these for the family:
http://www.akam.dk/images/bilder_nyheter/Sony/s600_front.jpg
...along with a 1GB Memory Stick that took 6 hours, a blowtorch, and a team of 12 firefighters to open the friggin' package. Seriously, those can't be OSHA approved!

Packaging these days is getting stupid. Pretty. But stupid.

I'm getting miffed that whenever my Mum buys any new stuff, I have to open the packaging for her as it's too hard for her to do (she's not an old age pensioner by the way).

I got some new headphones recently (I'll post pics soon - they're 5.1s) and they came in some lovely packaging. But extremely wasteful, I was amazed...

Oh and also, just to add something to the hard disk bit - just bought a 250GB Maxtor drive for £55, along with a £25 external case thingy for my Dad. £80 isn't bad (IMO) for a 250GB external drive - compared to the prebuilt solutions...

I've been meaning to buy a new 1GB card too.. Can only fit 110 pictures on my current 1GB. And then my card reader is USB1.x.. so very slow, takes ages to transfer the whole card to a HDD. But no money to buy new stuff, I'm lucky to have enough for the rent images/smilies/cry.gif
