Unknown 'Backup Software'

Hi everyone.

I've got these 7 disks which i'm told are backup disks.
When read via windowsXP you can only see one file on each disk: 'README.TXT'

The contents of which say:

Code:
                            ===========
                            Backup   CD
                            ===========

        This disc is a backup CD.

        Except for this file the contents of this disc must be
        accessed using your backup software.
I'm trying to work out what the backup software is. Does anyone recognise it?
I'm told they were created via an automated process when the user simply puts the disk in the drive of a morning and keeps changing the disks until the process is finished.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I kinda doubt there's something on it.

Or maybe the files are hidden. Select extra -> folder options -> show hidden files.

That's the only file there.
No hidden files.
If you look on the CD, you can see that the whole thing's be written to... like close to the full 700MB. Except for one... which i assume is the last one of the set and looks like it only has ~150MB written to it.

I think that unless you've used this backup software before and recognise it, you won't know what it is.

So here's hoping! =)

In this thread someone posts the same problem (the readme file even says the same) see if you're luckier with that "Vertias Storageguard" thingy.

jensked: yeah, i tried the demo of STOMP's Backup MyPC. All the restore options look for a file you can see from windows explorer.

Z102: Veritas StorageGuard is interesting. You cant really get it... except in a "VERITAS STOMP-BUMP - Backup MYPC" form. Which i don't expect to work.

Should have mentioned i've already Googled my brains out.
Appreciate the effort though. Thanks guys.
