Default Video Conversion

I currently have a avi file that I cannot burn, when I try to convert to another format or try to use nero to burn onto a disc, it either says unable to insert on nero on unable to open on DVDsanta.

Does anyone know why or experienced this? I can't seem to get around the problem, anyone have any suggestions?

i use Video-convert-master
http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/M...rt_Master.html

converts all types of file (even types it doesn't support) images/smilies/wacko.gif

if that fails, i also use WINAVIvideoconvertor

http://www.winavi.com/en/video-conve...-converter.htm

hope this helps, i know how annoying AVI files can be

avi is simply a wrapper, you need to figure out what CODEC was used to create the video.

VLC should play just about anything out there, and through its get info menu, you can figure out what CODEC was used.

www.videolan.org/vlc

is the video available on the net somewhere? i could look at it....
