| Well does anyone have a suggestion for a simple and easy to use one? For example, all i need to do is take a film i made with my camcorder and cut parts of the film out (like mess ups) and with those mess ups be able to create like a "special" segment where its just messups. Nero Vison 3 seems a bit difficult to use...i'm useing the "make a movie" thing and call it seems i can do is cut scences.

Plus, it has a professional interface so if you decide to do more editing you will have already started on the right path. http://avid.com/freedv/ Edit: You know, there is also Windows MovieMaker that comes with Windows XP. |

Rep Power: 17 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've used Adobe Premiere and have no complaints. It came out as a winner in a side by side comparison of different video editing softwares. A 30day trial will do the job. The simplest program would be Virtual Dub (the Mod version is slightly better) cut out stuff using ctrl+x and paste using ctrl+v and youre good. No title adding possability but if you want simple than thats it. About 2MB of open source program. Its also quite a pro program for compressing video. link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/virtualdubmod |

| If you really want a simple program to use, go for Pinnacle Studio. You can easily capture videos, edit them, add effects and make a video file or DVD. I personally use Premiere Pro 2.0. But it's a lot harder to start with than Pinnacle. Avid isn't easy either. | |
