^^ Thanks! And thanks for the offer too images/smilies/smile.gif

One little tweaking question. I would quite like to have a drop shadow around the images (ie the image and border, like in the original mock up in my first post)
Is there a way of creating this around the viewer itself? I know another way, where I create all the images with the border, but I just wondered if there is an easier way images/smilies/smile.gif

You would have to get the .fla files and add the shadow to the Flash.

Right, sorry for the delay.

1. I am on a wide screen Vista machine in FF (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14). I am getting a scroll bar down the right hand side but not one across the bottom.

The controls are working OK as far as I can tell - NB nice pics Dan.

Screen Res 1440 x 900

/EDIT

2. I am using a wide screen XP machine in IE7 7.0.5730.11

I am getting a scroll bar down the right hand side but not one across the bottom, it is smaller than the FF one. Screen res is 1440 x 900.

Shadowness, you have a couple choices if you want to get rid of the vertical scroll bar that Cobol is seeing.

1. Nudge all of the elements further up the page.

2. Scale back the size of the Flash viewer.

hmmmm....Cobol, do the contents still display in the middle of the page?
Im not too bothered tbh, it looks perfect on my screen, but I can appreciate that it will be different on different monitor etc

Im guessing that there will be a minimum res for when the scroll bar appears? Just noticed that Cobol has a 900px vertical res, which is relatively small (is that a laptop?)
If anyone could tell me if they too are seeing one, and what res that is at images/smilies/smile.gif

Yes, it's because of his resolution that he's seeing the vertical scrollbar. There's pretty much nothing you can do about it, and you really shouldn't worry about it as it's basically impossible to design a site to look exactly the same at all resolutions. You just have to pick a target resolution range and design for that. It still looks fine even if people on lower resolutions have to scroll down a bit. There aren't very many sites where all the content fits without scrolling down even on higher resolutions, so like I said, I wouldn't worry about it images/smilies/smile.gif
