| Wants Rick Astley's Babies | Soo... I just kinda finished installing the new system and the GPU does something I never had before. Its a 7900GTO (like a GTX but the mem is clocked down a bit) and is runs on the newest Forceware drivers. Whenever I click the Control Panel thingy (in the tray for adjusting AA and stuff) the screen (a 37" lcd vga@1360x768) goes dark for a second and comes back on... So far I've used a ATI card with it, and that did the job just fine... Any ideas? //edit: It also does it, when I right click on video files...

| Wants Rick Astley's Babies | Since this maybe part of the problem, no edit on the post: The video looks like shit. Overlay, vmr, nothing looks good, overlay looks too scaled when in fullscreen and even hrhd stuff is bad... vmr7 is too dark vmr9 is too bright. All of them stutter a bit, even though they only use like 10% CPU... Tried 2 ffshow builds, all in mpc This sucks...

There is no replacement for displacement. - Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10 ... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it. - Motor Trend on the 2006 Dodge Viper Coupe, November 2005 | |

Car: Toyota MR2 Mk1, Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC, Peugeot 309 Rep Power: 19 ![]() ![]() | On my old nVidia card, I got this issue a few times. It was always down to drivers (occurred after I'd updated the drivers). I suggest you try a different set of drivers if you can, and make sure the old ones are completely removed (uninstall in safe mode, then reinstall in safe mode). Alternatively, try the drivers from Guru3d - these are an alternative to nVidia's own drivers and may help. HTH

French though, so gotta treat her rough to keep her happy. 1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 - owned it for two years. Love it loads. Currently undergoing a suspension upgrade... 1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC - A project car that had Headgasket issues when I bought it. I've never driven it... yet... |

| Global Moderator | try the PureVideo HD Beta drivers, they add purevideo support for HD content, that might clear up the picture |

| Global Moderator | I suppose you have tried to fiddle with your overlay settings to clear up the picture? cos my GF7600GT had very weird standard settings |
