Default What to do with 2 inherited comptuers

I just got (for free) a full HP tower with an AMD Athlon 2400 processor, 512ram, and a whopping 11.2gb HDD. The second is a gutted Compaq with similar spec but a 120gb HDD and DVD writer. The smaller HDD has XP professional installed and the larger has XP home. I already put the larger HDD into the HP and will also swap the DVD writer in.

I was going to just format the larger HDD and primarily use that (the smaller has 9.2gb free). Am I doing anything wrong here?

Thats what I would suggest.

Take out the 11 GB, and put in the 120 GB, and format. No use having a 11 GB when you have a 120 GB. Also, the 120GB is almost certainly higher RPM, and has more cache than the 11GB. So the computer will run a lot faster with the OS on the 120GB drive. And add or swap the DVD drive.

Get some more ram, and a portable HDD andTurn it into a Media server and use for for media /downloading so you can transfer the stuff you download to your other comp without risk of getting something. Or turn it in a dedicated Pr0n serverimages/smilies/lol.gif.
