Rep Power: 22 ![]() | I noticed that quite a lot of members here are equipped with a dvd writer, so what are everyone's favorite media? I almost exclusively use Memorex and Maxell DVD+R (both manufactured by Ricoh) and they work very well with my writer (Benq DW822A). Tried some Princo's to see if I can save some money but the results weren't good to say the least. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | For DVD-R I have had good luck with Verbatim and Pioneer for the more expensive media and DVDPro for the cheaper stuff. I get all my media from a site called www.meritline.com. Plus they just dropped their pirces on the DVDpro to 47$ US for a 100 spindle. For DVD+R have have used Imation and Memorex and those have both have worked very well. Not sure for good prices on those since I usually get them through work. |

Rep Power: 22 ![]() | Great prices on that website, but then I look at the shipping fee to Canada and it costs US$41 to ship one pound. If I live in the States I would definitely give this store a try. |

| VIP | I use Ritek DVD-Rs. I've burned quite a few and haven't had a single frisby. They've all worked perfectly in the DVD-Roms and DVD players I've used them in. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...ufacture=RITEK ^ I got them through NCIX, which is in Vancouver and Burnaby, so that would be especially helpfull for you Haha604. 8) |

Rep Power: 22 ![]() | Yeah I heard that Ritek is pretty good too, gotta give those a try some time. NCIX would be very convinient for me too, since I got quite a lot of my computer parts from there as well . |

Rep Power: 22 ![]() | I get 25 packs of Memorex or Maxell for CAD$30 when they go on sale. Plextor discs made by Taiyo Yuden sell for $2 a disc, so I am not gonna spend more than that on other media. |
