And it's just $99.
I'm drooling at that thing. I want shiny watch. Especially with the current exchange rate.

Then I realised that shipping internationally cost $45 (!) and they only took AMEX, which doesn't exist in the Old World.

Oh well, back to looking at my mobile for the time it is.

editeditedit - ooh, there are some new ones on eBay for a decent price! Now just to hope the seller will post to France...

Absolutely. Seiko is my recommendation as well! I have a 1/5 Alarm Chronograph Cal. 7T62 and like it very much. MSRP is around $425 but you can find them online for a bit under $200.

7T62 ftw! It's a mechanism, not a watch, Tobias. My SNA755 has the same mechanism.

here are the 2 of the watches that I am looking at right now.

http://www.bulova.com/brands/bulova/...gin=collection

http://www.citizenwatch.com/COA/Engl...ber=AV0031-59A

the Bulova has carbon fiber all through it (probably just stickers), and the Citizens feels like I could hurt someone with it. They both are going to cost me the exact same, just have to pick which one.

Between those two, I like the Citizen a lot more. The Bulova looks tacky IMO.

I am leaning toward the Citizen also. I may end up with both of them. Get one as a gift, and just buy the other. I am going to look at a few Tags tonight, but I am thinking they are going to be double the price.

I've had a few watches (three Heuers, one Rolex) over the years but for the past 12 years have been wearing this particular watch since it was given to me as a gift. It's a wonderful reminder of kindness.

^ Omega Moon Watch FTMW! I have one from the 1960s on a bracelet.

But post it up here instead; it's sorta the forum's watch tally.

Fossil watch, with changeable background (red or black), and the hour & minute hands glow in the dark.

Nothing fancy, apart from the background colour.... guess that was the reason why the battery died not too long ago.
