This used to happen to me with files that did not download properly, and would only happen to .wmv files. It's to do with the encoding of the file.
It could possibly be a codec problem or a WM10 problem, not sure. Check what codecs are running with G-Spot for those which you can't skip through.
Remember, a dog is not just for Christmas. It can also be for a birthday. In fact, you can eat them all year round!
