So I moved the base a bit higher from where it was sitting, and this improves things somewhat. I still get a hiss if I tune it for maximum volume.

But still, it scratches and beeps too often I'm honest... you tilt your head a little and you get interference. Also, the battery life seems to suck. It lasts me around 1 hour before the volume dies down to whispering levels.

All in all, pretty disappointed. But I haven't made a decision one way or the other.

Dude, I think you got a faulty unit. Take it to where you bought it ASAP for an exchange.

Shawn, they sound like the noises I got from my rubbish built-into-the-motherboard sound card I have. Can you borrow & test another sound card from someone? Or maybe even try the headphones with a different source (e.g. an iPod or something).

Otherwise, you've probably got duff units as has been said; One of my best mates has a pair of the wireless Sennheisers - think it's the 130 - and I thought the quality was pretty good... But then his flat is tiiiiiny!

1989 Toyota MR2 Mk1 - owned it for two years. Love it loads. Currently undergoing a suspension upgrade...
1987 Toyota MR2 Mk1 SC - A project car that had Headgasket issues when I bought it. I've never driven it... yet...

I have Sennheiser RS110's. I use them so I can play 360 in the living room without waking the wife at night. They work fairly well, especially for $60!

Yeah, have you tried the headphones from another source?

Motorola HT820 headphones FTW. I have them for work and they are perfect, if you get the Motorola BT adapter for them you will get about 100-150ft range, good sound quality, media controls, and simultaneous pairing with a BT phone so you can switch back and forth between the two, and about 12+ hours listening time depending on volume. I have used them two 8 hour days in a row without charging while having volume anywhere from about 25% to max(most of the time at max).
I am very surprised you had issues with the Sennhesiers, you must have had a bad set or something, but I will recommend these Motos every time.
