One more question:
I got a Xbox360 elite in the usa. Will a Xbox360 steering wheel from Ireland or England work on it?

50No, it will be right-hand drive.
0It will work I got an answer on a xbox forum.
Thanks anyway.
0One more question.
Is the xbox hd dvd drive any good?
50From what I hear it works just like the normal 360 dvd player, only it plays in spectacular 1080p like a normal HD-DVD player.
0How the hell do you transfer music to the xbox harddrive? from an ipod?
50You can use and iPod, you can also use a USB drive to transfer the songs over.
I'm pretty sure you can just put a cd in and rip the music.
0but how do you transfer from the ipod to the xbox?
50There will be an option to save to the HDD, I believe the option to save will be when you press the Y button.
you can't.
you can however listen to music on your ipod through your xbox (i believe you can even use your ipod music ingame if the option exists) check out this site
also i would like to point out that i found all that information in about 30sec using google.
50You can't save music from your iPod? Learn something new everyday.
You can use a USB driver though, which would be your easiest bet besides just putting in a cd.
and yes you can use music from your iPod in-game
Wait till this Sunday (Oct 21). Best Buy is throwing in a free season HD-DVD of Heroes for each purchase of Xbox 360's HD DVD player. This already on top of the 5 free HD DVD's and the free King Kong movie.

I didn't think I'd ever meet someone who didn't know what google is.
Who else is waiting for assasins creed to get a 360?
I just found that 360 can read mov file..........there is an update for media center OO
So yeah....change ur avi-->mov and it will work...=___=||
I hope they make it able to read avi, xvid soon.

138haha is that a joke from MS, making it read the Apple format?
i'll give the conversions a go, because i want to put all the season 10 episodes on a DVD-RW until the season is over, and i can make a complete DVD.
Quicktime runs horribly on this PC but if it plays on my 360 it should be worth it. i've tried converting them to WMV, but it takes soo long using WinAVI that i can't be bothered.
about the Xvid thing, users with Media Centre can play Divx or Xvid on their 360s (new update) but it is transcoded to WMV before being played by the 360
and VLC 360 also allows you to do this
Matt
138ok really sorry to double post but you guys need to hear this. i buy PC Pro magazine, and the new one has a feature comparing media streaming devices. obviously the 360 is the best of all of the ones available, but i've seen something else.
we've already mentioned the problems for people without MCE, but now they are over!
Tversity is FREE and is basically MCE. it works with all sorts of media players, but most importantly, the 360!
downloading it now to test it. according to the site and the magazine, it can handle Divx, Xvid and loads of other formats!
YAY!
will post more when it's working
edit: got it working, and it does allow me to watch TG directly from my HDD, but quality is pretty poor on it's best setting, it won't play HD videos in HD and the media service that runs always seems to be downloading something, using up CPU power and bandwidth even when you're not watching a video
MS have nothing to worry about atm, this doesn't even come close to Media Centre![]()
Get winamp, they added winamp remote now that pretty much does the same thing as TVersity
Flash Drives? Not to hard to convert, just load the videos into Windows Movie Maker and publish. It has HD support to.
