Rep Power: 25 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I just bought a 8600GTS as replacement for my 6600GT. i ran 3dmark06 and all i got was 2872 points, while the card scored 5800 points in other tests. my specs are: Amd Athlon 64 3500+ 2.2GHZ Asus A8N-SLi DeLuxe 1GB DDR RAM 200GB 7200 Seagate XFX 8600GTS 512MB, all stock. Tagan 480 watt PSU what is wrong here? my FPS in rFactor (50-80FPS) is lower then with my 6600GT (80-100), but TD:U fps has doubled and i have got 50-60FPS with everything on full with HDR on, without AA @ 1440*900. Why o why. my PSU should be powerfull enough. i've used the converter (2 * 4 pin molex to 6 Pin PCI-e) to give it additional power. my PSU does have a 6 pin psu of it's own though. thanks for the help.

Rep Power: 25 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yes it does run the latest driver. How can i check if slot is working at 8x? (i think the a8n sli deluxe has 2 8x pci slots) EDIT: i checked in everest, it says this: ![]() So, it IS running at 1x. I have configured it in the left slot you can see in this picture: http://pctuning.tyden.cz/ilustrace2/..._board_big.jpg first i put it in the right slot of the board, but that gave me a beep and 'system failed vga test' voice. the 'sli card' between the slots is set to 'single card mode'
