posting from Firefox!

Now, any suggestions on things to add? already added some nice ones but I'm open to suggestions to add more functionnality

also, is there a way of making a link you click open in a new tab instead of a new window with only a normal left click?

set it in your preferences, under something like, "new windows open in new tab".

Middle click using the scroll wheel. Get Tab Browser Preferences to give you more control over tabbed browsing. Others:

Adblock - A must-have
IE View - Adds 'View this page in IE' to right click menu - handy for those PITA pages
Imageshack right-click - You'll have to get that from Imageshack - adds 'Upload to imageshack' to the right-click menu
Download Manager Tweak is also nice

Other must have addons include:

- Buttons to control Winamp (Foxyamp)
https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...umpg=10&id=219
- The addon that let's you customize Google. (for example: gives you hundreds of suggestions when you start typing something, for example 'final g' would automattically result in 'final gear' https://addons.mozilla.org/extension...cation=firefox

Welcome back from the dark side. 8)

I thought you meant Flashgot and installed it. But it requires an additional Download Manager in order to be functional. If this is the one, which download manager should I get?

Or were you talking about DownThemAll! which doesn't need an additional download manager?

cya & thx

I've currently got....

Tab Browser Preferences, Lets downloads load in a Tab instead of a window (or whatever)

Google toolbar, Guess what that is if you can images/smilies/smile.gif

FireFTP, is a gorgeous FTP extention that does all you ever need from an ftp client.

CTC, adds close tab to context (right click) menu.

I Don't go to many comercial sites so Adblock isn't really neccesary, but if you need it install filterset G as sugested.

Don't bother opening stuff in new windows, it's a waste of time, get used to the tabs and it will soon become 2nd nature. To help, set up the warning for closing firefox if there is more than one tab open (That used to drive me crazy). That's under tabbed browsing in the options, I don't know if this is a standard feature or if its in an extention now since i've installed them and forgotten what thay do images/smilies/smile.gif

^ This one (sorry, missed your bump)

I have mine set to open in a new tab - I find it really convenient

As for mouse gestures, I don't use them, but they allow you to perform function like Back, Forward, Reload etc, using mouse gestures - like a quick drag left takes you back a page (I don't know what the specific gestures are - I have back & forward buttons on my mouse)
