I'm running FF3 Portable on my USB drive so I can take it to work (I've got the regular FF3 on my home system.) All the compys where I work only have IE 6 which I can't stand. My extension list for both my portable and home versions is essentially the same:

Extensions:
AdBlock Plus
Download Statusbar
IE Tab
ImageZoom
New Tab Button on Tab Right
PicLens
Reload Every (handy for some sites I have to use while at work)
TabRenamizer (handy for those same sites)

Themes:
NASA Night Launch

Plugins:
Adobe Flash
Shockwave

Any idea what theme/extension/whatever can I use to get old flat-style tabs on FF3? There's a "winstripe classic" theme for FF2 that does it, but not for FF3 images/smilies/sad.gif

Tabs Mix Plus: Gives you stacks of tabs instead of having to scroll left and right.

Foxmarks: Similar to Google Sync, but faster. It saves bookmarks to online so you can synch to multiple computers.

Good riddance. That thing just hammers web servers, etc. I hate it.

FF3 just loaded, plus some of the plugin recommendations from above. Rather good, gets the Cobol74 seal of approval.images/smilies/firefox.gif

I read something about that, rather scared me off actually... It pre-loads links on pages even when you don't click on them, so when you click the page actually loads faster. Am I correct on this?
But, surely, then your internet connection has to load all those links on every page you visit which must slow surfing the internet down immensely? And the owner of the website you're visiting must be pretty pissed too: you're using a lot more bandwidth than you actually need...

before my last format i had an extention which showed in the bottom right corner a few buttons to play/stop/next/... your media player, it also showed the title and artist

don't have the slightest idea which it is, and already scanned the download pages, but don't seem to see it at first glance

anyone have an idea which one i'm looking for?

Was it an extension, or a plugin? Cos there are a few plugins for FF for Real Player and WMP
