exe = an executable file. Basically files ending in the file extension .exe

Well, I don't know if this is the same for WinMo, but the Zune HD is based on WinCE, so that may make some kind of difference. And I've heard several times that a European release is planned.
As for why it might not be a phone(aside from pissing off any company using WinMo):

No, those won't run on Windows Mobile.

You'd need applications designed for WM. Having said that, there are a ton of free WM softwares out there that are extremely good.

Which WM devices were you looking at?

This thing has it's own OS, you want customization, look into the Zii Egg. I'd buy this thing if it had more than a useless 32 gb... i filled my 80 more than halfway thru, they need to get large sizes into these types of players, HD is BIG...

High capacity pmp's are rare because people want capacitive touch screens, which can't be used with HDDs. Also, a 64GB Zune HD will be coming out sometime next year.

MS doesn't want to sell overseas because then it might give them a chance to make the zune a bigger market and actually compete.

As for the the Zune HD, I hope that they will sell it in Canada. Spec wise, it seems amazing. I wonder if the Zune marketplace will be expanded to accommodate third party applications?
