n the world’s fastest wagon, the Audi RS6.
Fortunately (unlike the magazine) the spark plug leads worked on the Clubby tested by the TGA TV boys and it puts in a cracking time around the track, and even threatens to give the RS6 a nudge. Incidentally, we’re happy to report that the RS6 does the 0-100km/h sprint in just 4.6 seconds. That’s very fast. The RS6, it turns out, is ballistic. It’s just a pity it doesn’t sound or feel like it.
Anyway, here’s a peek at tonight’s show;

Olympic swimmer Leisel Jones is the star in our celebrity car and she proves sporting types do better around our test track than arty types. Jones reveals that her parents’ car broke down on the way to the airport to head to the Sydney Olympics. She vowed that if she became successful she would try to get a sponsorship deal from a car maker.
She ended up becoming one of Australia’s best swimmers, and eventually picked up a deal with Ford (among other brands that would follow). The first car, a Ford Laser, arrived but it was a manual. So she taught herself how to drive it in the local shopping centre car park on weekends. Not sure if this anecdote made the final cut of the show, but The Mole thought it was a cool story.
The boys try and drift some unusual rides, including an ice cream truck, a Chrysler 300C stretch limousine and a racing truck, with some surprising results.
And Steve Pizzati teaches James Morrison’s real life dad, George, a Methodist Pastor, how to drift in a Ford Falcon XR8 ute.
Last and kind of least Warren tests the new Kia Soul, and points out the rather unfortunate word that gets created when the R version of the Soul is said aloud.
Warren says boxy cars are coming whether we like it or not, even though he’s not a fan. The boys are still debating this as the credits roll.
A funnier story happened off camera during the filming of the Kia Soul segment, but that will have to wait until after tonight’s episode, and, um, until after you’ve had your dinner.

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.
