Rep Power: 0 ![]() | For once I'm not regretting wasting an hour. An 8 from me, but they could've dropped the X6 for more stuff in the challenge. |

Was good to see some opinions coming across in the CLK Black piece - plus some nice action & superb engine notes. A good bit of work that. I think Warren's X6 film did a fairly good job of making the obvious point - why does this thing exist? The film itself could've done with a bit more action - the 'off-roading' looked like he just turned off someone's driveway onto their front yard. Nice pick-up though about the manual suggesting no rough terrain... Leaving the best for last - the challenge. Loved it - plenty of laughs, in particular from Steve & his taxi. Great stuff, plenty of top moments in there (i.e. the cut to Warren reading the Service manual...). The shooting of the track is still a problem though - they really need to find a couple of extra cameras, at the moment it's all a bit too distant and slow-mo. Charlie seems to be calming down a bit with his hosting, which you'd expect as things settle down. Steve did a great job on the CLK Black & was genuinely funny with his Taxi.

Car: 1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5L Rep Power: 41 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My scores so far: Ep1 6/10 Ep2 7/10 Ep3 6/10 I was at the filming of this episode and if theres one thing that stood out - it was that the presenters are exactly off screen, as they are on. Charlie is nervous and unsure. Steve brims of confidence. And Warren is just Warren (no bad thing). Unfortunately, the in-studio script is hopeless! It makes me cringe to hear some of their jokes. There is some promise. But half the time, I can't stand what they consider humour. The audience needed some serious prompting to applaud, laugh etc. This ep was like the first. A hit and a miss. Firstly Steve's review of the CLK Black: It was largely unremarkable. Far too critical on the price. I couldn't care less what the price is. I just want to see tyre smoke and driver impressions. Both were limited. Warren's review was reasonable but still lacking that humour I expect from Top Gear. I can't believe they didn't use that as a lead up to the What Were They Thinking Board. The cheap car challange was a 4/10 at best. Just dismal! I didn't want to mention it after filming out of fear of 'ruining' it for others. Maybe I should have... It was just select a car. Run each car up and down a strip as fast as they can. And then a race. And not much else. I think they need a new script writer for the in-studio bits. The comedy is aweful. But worse off - I think they need a new presenter to replace Charlie. |

Rep Power: 10 ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is begining to feel alot more like Top Gear. The reviews were great (we know exactly what the presenters think of the cars) and the challenge while short was quite funny. Though i would have prefered they get rid of the SIARPC segment and just made the challenge longer as for me the SIARPC was the only weak segment of the episode. |

Car: 97 EP91 Toyota Starlet Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Seems as though the series is in gradual development. As mentioned in previous post was a improvement to see some negative points about the cars as well as just the positives. The forced comedy and eccentric behaviour hopefully will no longer be part of the development in the next series, guess we have to tolerate it for this series. Still a rocky road but is tolerable enough that I will give it a rating and allow it to develop (if for nothing else than just to see local-relevant car reviews). Give it a 7 (either same as last week or one more) however cant give it anymore really until the format is changed adequately to compliment the presenter's personalities. |

| D: | I enjoyed it, I suspect seeing several takes in the studio spoils it a little SL65 :p Was looking like it could of been an 8 right up until Julia Zemiro, urgh

Car: Holden Statesman WH V8 GEN III Rep Power: 12 ![]() ![]() ![]() | This was yet another good episode, not the best I would say but guys are improving. But then I guess one episode reflects on the whole series. You can not find the difference until next series. God I am annoyed with the arm/hand movement of cox and then it was Julia’s hands, she was not behind either. But Charlie really went red when she hugged him. Lol Video editing for the MB Black was great. It was a good review. With the STIG lap times. I think they film very low with the ground, they need to film a bit higher up the ground. But again it was better than Porsche’s lap. Picture of warren and Steve was hilarious for what were they thinking? The best part of the show was news segment and also the BMW review by warren. He was spot on. i wonder why most of the cars for review are Victorian registered. I think they used brand new tyres for the $500 junkyard car challenge. I was expecting them to use tyres of different cars and of different sizes from the yard.

| I personally felt this episode to be close to last week's, but just under it. A good solid episode although, the 'challenge' was quite ambiguous and very short. The reviews were very good which the presenters giving their opinions and criticisms (yay!). A 7/10 from me. I'm really looking forward to next week, she'll be a real cracker... | |

![]() I dunno. I just can't stand their humour. I'm easily won over. But I'm also easily lost. Maybe some of you out there are like me... | |

I'm glad they did point out the reasons for their existence for both cars. I really don't know why they made the X6, or even the category of sporty 4wds. Anyway, I started feeling a bit mish mash with Charlie during SIABSC with Julia Zemiro, but other than that, good show especially with the banger racing. Oh and I felt the news section was a bit lack luster tonight. 7/10 for me.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Damn me if that stupid guest didn't make my teeth itch, WHY HER?!? Can't drive WTF? Disappointing after the promising E2. CLK black piece could have been so much better, the show really needs a decent writer. X6 review was the only bit I thought up to standard. |

Lucky all the presenters so far have been reasonably talkative and not required much prompting because Charlie really doesn't have much to say/contribute. He just waves his hands around a lot. A LOT! Believe me....I saw it for a couple hours, lol. |
