    Downtime

    phpBB : Critical Error

    Could not connect to the database. Most likely the database load is too high on the server. Try again later. Sorry for the downtime.
    I got this error 4 times today so far, it's getting annoying!

    What's going on? the new server isn't able to take the load either?

    On the irc channel Viper said he's gonna talk to his hosting about this. Hopefully that solves the problem, otherwise..

    I pointed that error out to Viper a couple of days ago...
    Yesterday though it was worst... Couldn't reach it for an hour... And it took a minute or two before my posts were accepted...

    I'm not complaining by any means, just a status report from me. I'm confident Vipers going to solve this

    A cron job or something is making the server load spike really high.

    Record the times at which you recieve the error and pulse and his server admins will try to resolve the issue.
