Woah posts from the future! It seems to be a minute off for me. I always figured it was a problem with my settings but I always put off fixing it.

Could there be a section added to the profile for people's Nationality? The location does not always specify somebody actual Nationality, just where they are located.

It might be useful...

It might be useful...

Just use the "Biography" field.

vB 3.7 will be out soon and it'll have tons and tons of new stuff like immense profiles.

I've noticed that the Search function never seems to return any results for 3-letter words. Also, is there any way to remove the minimum # of letters for a search? It'd be nice to search for things like "M5" and whatnot.

That increases our search database size to insane numbers due to indexing smaller words, and would add ridiculous load to the server anytime someone would run a search.

Btw, use Google for that.

That use to piss me off too. I'd try and do a search and get that error. So I'd delete the 3 letter word and hit search. That would bring up another error saying I need to wait 15 seconds between searches, even though the bitch never searched the first time.

I think we're using MySQL's internal search engine right now, aren't we? (Rather than vB's huge ass table of all words)

Combination of both afaik. It still puts an incredible load on the server if we enable that option.

Is it possible to introduce "Mark This Section of Forum Read", because when I get a chance to come on I only get to read sections at a time...so I don't "Mark Forums Read" because that marks everything read...so if we could mark section read that be good, so when we go back to it it won't be as confusing.

By sections a mean, Mark the "Entertainment" section read or Mark the "Technology" section read etc.

There seem to be something wrong when I click the 'new post' or 'last post' buttons, it takes me to about the right place, but not exactly to the right post, like right now when I pressed the 'last post' button to get to the last post, I ended up in the middle of post 235, it's not a big deal to scroll that bit, but just letting you know

Since we are in 2008, I think we should do something about the cool smiley 8 ) 8). Some people might use this involuntarily quite often (xx-xx-2008) and it exits as : cool: anyway.

Been noticing the same thing. I think what's happening is your browser is scrolling to the correct anchor, but then images and stuff are loading, making the page longer. Previously, a Javascript function would then re-scroll to the anchor once the page finished loading, but the SEO plugin appears to have broken that.

Yeah, and 8) doesn't look bad for backwards compatibility.
