I think people should start treating discussions of how things are staged like spoilers, because coming into every thread and reading about how everything was fabricated really, really, really sucks. Some of us actually don't want to know.

I apologise if this is too silly, but it really gets me down going into pretty much every other thread and someone telling me about how everything in this episode has been staged because they've taken time out of their lives to go and find out every little thing about it. It ruins the magic and it has permanently ruined several episodes for me.

ETA: I don't mean having a policy of putting every discussion of how something's staged in a spoiler text or anything like that, I think that would be OTT, just people need to consider that some people want to avoid these things, so perhaps linking to a discussion of staging rather than C&Ping or re-stating the points, for example.

I have a suggestion that Viper either remove the Tip of the Month or add a new one. It's been a few months that that's been up there, I think everyone has seen it by now.

Maybe it's just that I browse the forums a lot on 1024x600, but it's starting to annoy me.

Edit: Looks like it's gone already?

I had been thinking the same, but it's not always there (maybe there's some logic to it) but yeah, change it or loose it

Sorry, I completely forgot it was there since I didn't set it for my usergroup.

It was set to only show once per session. I've completely disabled it now though.

Viper did you break something again

Usually when you click on someones name you get a list with some stuff in it, now you get the profile (I know I can find the stuff in the profile, but it takes longer).
Also when I click the [+/-] to rep someone the little box that used to be there is now the whole page.
And when you 'mouseover' the rep it used to say the users rep.
There's some more but it's mostly those pop-up things that are wierd.

Sounds like a JS issue (bad cache perhaps?). Press control + F5.

I don't know if this is already on or not, last I needed it, it wasn't: The ability for the thread starter to change the title of the thread, can it be done or is it a mod thing only?

I don't know of any forum where you can do that. It would be quite chaotic too, I guess. Just think about your thread title before you post it... :p

It's an option with vB but it's been set to mods only.

Only a minor thing but during any page load at the moment,

Downloading Picture Whos.amung.us/……

This seems to be hanging or waiting for a long time.
Or timing out, then I get the little white box with the red x in it.
Or sometimes it works OK.

The Forum page presents instantly.

Not much I can do about a remotely hosted image other than remove it, but I like seeing the "currently online" count for the site.
