Mobile vB theme?

I'm not sure how many of us are using mobiles (PDAs, phones, etc) to use the forums other than me. Is it relatively simple to implement additional VB themes? A mobile theme like Brighthand's forums have would be nice.

A theme for the iPhone/Touch is more likly, I'd say, considering that Viper has one.

There are only very minor bugs when accessing it via the iPhone, though.

There are no bugs when using the site from my iPAQ, just the expected lack of some javascript functionality and annoying slowdowns.

The only difference with the iLoser devices is the resolution and more javascript support. It doesn't mean that a simplified theme has to be any different.

I know there used to be a Mobile theme on here awhile back, but I think it was outdated, so that may be why Viper ditched it.

Yeah, it was for a much older version of vB and didn't work well. I'll look into a newer one.

Very nicely formated, but it only shows the forums list. Viewing a thread puts it back in desktop mode.

So, apparently, there are some vB mobile themes. I think his last statement is just telling me that I can't, personally, download themes to show on their board.

Recreate this theme using the default vB theme as a base while you're at it.

The first one is too heavy and appears to be just the default theme.

The second one doesn't look any different than the regular FG look. (?)

And it's just the vB Lite I had before. Maybe he updated it, I dunno.

It's not bad!

Minor things:
- it doesn't fill the width of the browser display area (using Pocket IE in WM6)
- Can we have the "go to last unread post" icon in the thread lists? (new posts, forum listing, etc)
