"What's That Song?" Introduction and Rules

Due to popular demand, we've started up a 'What's that Song' forum.

Now, there are going to be a few rules for this forum to keep things neat and tidy:

1. I will start a thread for each episode that has aired so far; however, I will be starting with the most recent episodes and working my way back when I have free time.

2. I will list all of the songs that we have identified in the Top Gear or Fifth Gear specific episode forums or songs that I know from watching the episode myself. I will use a format like this:

02:37 - 03:23 - Underworld - Push Upstairs
04:10 - 04:22 - Azzido Da Bass - Doom's Night (Timo Maas Remix)
05:38 - 06:29 -
...

3. If you would like to request identification of a song, post in the episode's thread in this forum, and post the specific time the song starts. If you saw the episode on TV and therefore don't have a specific time, do your best to describe exactly where the song started.

4. Do not post song requests in the 'Specific Episode Discussion' threads if there is a thread for the episode in this forum. If I haven't created a thread for an older episode, feel free to ask in it's thread in the 'Specific Episode Discussion' section; however, if there is a thread for the episode in here, use it.

5. If you request a song, I will add the times to the first post like the '05:38 - 06:29' request has been done in the example above. Once the song has been identified, the artist and name will be added.

6. If you know a song that someone has requested, post the answer. I will take your answer and add it to the list of songs in the first post in the thread for easy access. If you have a correction, post it as well and I'll add it to the first post.

7. Don't expect every single song request to be answered. We'll all try our best, but both shows use some pretty obscure music.

Hopefully this will help everyone out in finding the songs they want to know. If you have any questions or comments about this forum or its rules, post them in this thread.

Well, this forum is locked to normal users, so they can't create their own threads (for a reason obviously). If anyone has any suggestions on how this forum could run more smoothly, or if they have questions about the rules I set in place, they won't have anywhere to ask. I thought I would keep this unlocked for that purpose.

I really don't see the problem, and I doubt it will go too off-topic.

There have been hardly any song title requests from Fifth Gear episodes. I'll make a list for the new episode, but I've gone through a few of the old threads, and their are literally no song requests at all.

Threads need to be made for Fifth Gear, but as zenon said, not much interest, so they can easily wait until all of the TG ones are done.

Ya, well, there should be a lot of emphasis on the phrase "when I have free time" in what I said. I had the time today to sift through quite a few threads for song titles, but I don't expect to get through the remaining 4 seasons of Top Gear anytime soon.
