Cause that merc is the A Class W168, judging from the wheels the A160, with 101 horse power. Plus the one sticking through the windscreen.

As for Mautzel's car... Still no idea. That window heating mesh arrangement seems a bit small for a window that size, is the car from the 90s?

EDIT: On closer inspection that grey spot seems like the rear wiper and since a saloon doesn't have that, it can only be a hatch.

I'll have to inisist that it's the Opel Antara/Saturn Vue even though I can't find the original photo. I don't think that you've noticed my previous post in the mess created by toptree. It fits the latest clues, too.

This is the closest photo to the original that I've managed to find. Everything seems to match, the one on mautzel's photo just seems to have blacked out windows.
